Pepper: maintenance tips

Prefers full sun, with 6 to 8 hours of sunshine a day for maximum yield.
Watering
Water, without excess, when the soil is dry.
Planting
Plant in containers or in the garden in rich, well-drained soil or vegetable garden compost. Sensitive to cold.
Fertilization
Fertilize with a seaweed-based fertilizer once during the season for cultivation in the ground and twice during the season for cultivation in pots.
Harvest
Harvest when peppers have reached their ideal colour, usually in late summer. Always use pruning shears for cutting.
